Eirlys Earrings

Eirlys Earrings

This Name is Welsh for Snowdrop

The green shades in this necklace remind me of snowdrops. The polymer clay beads in the earrings are made using the Mokume gane technique where thin layers of translucent clay are covered with silver leaf and painted with alcohol inks, then distorted and cut into thin slices which are layered onto translucent clay beads to create a beautiful multi-layered appearance. Glass crackle beads highlight the polymer clay beads.

The earrings are 5.2cm long and have silver plated fish hooks.

Matching necklace available.
