A Breath of Spring

Persephone is the Greek goddess of spring growth and the colours of these earrings remind me of spring flowers such as bluebells and hyacinths.

This polymer clay technique was first described by Alice Stroppel around 2011 and very soon became popular. Here I have used a purple background and coloured cane scraps to make this stripy design.

The earrings are available in 5 different shapes. The teardrop is 3cm long and 1.8cm wide; the round shape is 2.2cm diameter; the rounded triangle is 3cm long and 1.6cm wide; the flower is 2.8cm diameter; and the long bead earrings are 3.5cm long.

The earrings are threaded onto silver plated fish hooks. The back of the earrings are textured and plain purple as shown.

Matching pendants and beaded necklace are available.
