Perfect for Autumn Days

This is a lightweight, delicate looking necklace that is perfect for the autumn season. The necklace is made from polymer clay which is thinly rolled and cut into leaf shapes and marked with leaf veins. The leaves are carefully brushed with a thin layer of mica powder in shades of green, gold, red and bronze. The leaves are then heat cured and the mica powder bonds with the polymer clay.

There are 15 leaves altogether in 3 graduated sizes. The leaves are threaded onto strong, flexible 19 strand beading wire with bronze colour glass seed beads added between the polymer clay leaves. The back of the leaves are brown with leaf vein details as shown.

The necklace is 55cm long and is fastened with a bronze magnetic clasp.
