A Virtual Flowerbed

This is a lightweight, delicate looking necklace that is perfect to add a pop of colour to a plain t-shirt or jumper.  The necklace is made from coloured translucent polymer clay using an extruder to produce diffferent coloured ‘sausages’ which are made into a block, and very thinly sliced.   When cured the slices are flexible and formed into tube shapes.  Each tube is 3.5cm long.

Clear glass seed beads are threaded between the polymer clay beads on strong, flexible beading wire.

The necklace is 51cm long and is fastened with a silver coloured magnetic clasp.
